File Buddy provides immediate access to several commands directly from the Finder via Finder's Services menu and contextual menu. All commands operate on the current Finder selection. Simple commands, such as Lock and Unlock, are executed directly on the selected items. Commands that require user input or invoke more advanced actions are passed to File Buddy, which will be launched if it isn’t already running.
These commands appear in both the
menu and in Finder contextual menus. Since they are normally accessed via contextual menus discussions of them in this help document will refer to them in that context.
